In this workshop, we will make a large vase. You will work on one of the basic techniques of building ceramics: rolling, coilbuilding, modelling. You will learn how to give shape to a larger vessel with coils. During the second session, we will dive into the sgraffito technique. We will paint the vases and pinchpots with coloured slips and then carve decorative patterns out of them.
